Overview
What MAWCast measures about your audience, where you see it, and how to read it.
Analytics in Control is where you understand who is listening, where they connect from and how your audience changes over time. Live figures come from the stream while you are on air; every broadcast keeps its own in its Broadcast Session, and that history is permanent.
| Figure | What it is |
|---|---|
| Listeners now | The listeners connected to your stream at this moment, counted live. |
| Peak listeners | The highest audience of a broadcast, and of your station overall. |
| Average listeners | The typical audience across a broadcast, kept with its session. |
| Listener timeline | How the audience rose and fell through each broadcast. |
| On-air time | Measured from the moment the source connected. |
| Bitrate | Read from the stream, when the source reports it. |
| All-time peak | Real history. Figures that came from a demo broadcast are tagged DEMO. |
A dash is not a zero
Every figure is either measured or absent, never an estimate presented as a fact. A zero means nobody was connected; a — means there is no measurement for that moment, and hovering it says why.
