Create your first station
What a station is made of, and which of its parts are permanent.
Name and address
The name is what appears on your page and in Control. The address is derived from it, reduced to the characters an address can carry, and it becomes three things at once:
| Where | Example |
|---|---|
| Public page | myradio.mawcast.com |
| Station mountpoint | /myradio |
| AutoDJ mountpoint | /myradio-autodj |
Addresses are permanent
A station's address is handed out to listeners and written into encoders. It is fixed when the station is created.
What is created with it
A station arrives with its own media library, schedule, public page and stream credentials. Nothing is shared with the other stations in the workspace except the storage allowance and the plan.
