Troubleshooting
The rotation is on but nothing is playing, or the wrong thing is.
Nothing is on air
Check, in this order:
- Rotation is switched on for this station.
- At least one playlist has media in it.
- The files have finished converting to MP3, if they were uploaded in another format — see Supported formats.
A file never plays
If it was uploaded as WAV, OGG, M4A or FLAC, it plays once it has been converted to MP3. Media shows where that is: converting, or failed with a way to try again.
The title on the page is wrong
The page shows what the source announced. If a track has no tags, MAWCast has nothing to announce — fix the metadata in the library and it will be right the next time it plays.
AutoDJ did not come back after a broadcast
That is the fallback, not the rotation. If the station is silent after a broadcaster leaves, check that rotation is still enabled; switching it off takes the station off air the moment the live source disconnects.
