Group your media and decide how AutoDJ reads each group.
Create a playlist
Open AutoDJ in Control
The rotation and its playlists live together.
Add a playlist
Name it for what it is: a daypart, a genre, your station IDs.
Add media
Anything already in the library can be added. A track can belong to more than one playlist.
Choose how it plays
In order, or shuffled.
In order or shuffled
| Mode | Use it for |
|---|---|
| In order | Anything with a shape: a mixtape, a countdown, a recorded show in parts. |
| Shuffled | Music beds and general rotation, where repetition is what you are avoiding. |
Place station IDs where they should play
Put jingles and station IDs inside an in-order playlist, between the tracks they should sit between. A playlist of IDs on its own would play all of them back to back, because AutoDJ plays each playlist in the rotation as one block.
